I purchased some aquacultured rock from MarcoRocks. Can anyone confirm what these filamentous structures are in the video? The rock is currently isolated in a separate tank. The structures do not move on their own, only with the current and they are all over the rock. AI suggests they are the structures left by spionid worms.

Thank you

Looks like the rock might be infested with aiptasia as well

Could possibly be vermeted snails. Google them and see if what you find looks like what you have. If you think it is them, then pick up some bumble bee snails and they will eat them.

They could just be a harmless tube worm too. I couldn’t really tell in your video. I think vermetids are more stiff and don’t flow that much.

Thank you. Dan_p you see Aiptasia in that video? I had no idea.
