What are these small white crustaceans

Noticed the small guys on my reef glass i know there not pods or atheist ones im familiar with so im curious on what they are?

No, they attach their shell to a spot and they stay there.

They are often found in new tanks, and the numbers will likely increase, and then over time you should notice the numbers die down. At least thats how it always went for me

Ok i dont think its them then since I see these guys moving around on the glass work and sand bed

If they move, they are likely the sorts of pods that folks want to feed fish like Mandarins.

Ostracods (A.K.A. Seed Shrimp) - should be harmless "pods" for your tank.
