I will keep an eye on the ones from the first picture to see if they move.First picture looks like baby snails.. second picture looks like the start of corraline.
Yeah, I don’t think it’s Coraline algae. I was able to scrape it off really easily, and it was actually kind of puffed up.First picture looks like baby snails.. second picture looks like the start of corraline.
Yes they don’t have a shell, and I do have some Nerite snails in the tank.Assuming they don't have a shell on top, I'd think those are snail eggs (probably Nerites, if you have any).
If the eggs hatch into pelagic larvae (i.e. swimming larvae), then I wouldn't expect many (or any) to survive; if they hatch into benthic larvae (i.e. if they come out crawling), then some may well survive.Yes they don’t have a shell, and I do have some Nerite snails in the tank.
I guess I am gonna get a few more snails soon!

It depends on the species - some species produce swimming larvae while others produce crawling larvae; the swimming ones are typically eaten, killed by equipment, or starve (they typically have special larval diet needs), but the crawling ones basically come out as miniature adults.Ok
I didn’t know that they could come out as swimming larvae
