I pulled some rock out of my poly tank to make smaller pieces etc. Got to this rock and have no idea what I'm looking at? Little white sacks or something? No clue, TIA!

Someone from a local group said they were Pineapple sponges?
They don't move, pealed right of the rock with no effort.

Someone in a local group said ""Pineapple Sponges?" I was just shocked there's anything alive in that poly tank. I was making some smaller pieces to scape with when I saw them.

Had rocks in the brute while I did my work on the tank/stand. I knew the tank was a SS but didn't expect much to live for 2 mos in the dark? What are these? I'm assuming nuisance since I've already been fighting with apstasia when I "thought" I was rescuing corals even after iodine and coral rx dips!
