what are these white stringy stuff? id please

hi everyone, recently i've been seeing these white stringy film mucus-like stuff in my sump attached to macroalgae and coral frags..i would clear them out but they'd appear the next day...can anyone help id and how do i rid them for good, thanks!

Those look like vermited snail webs.

Vermetid snails cast out a web to filter out food from the water column, and then eat the web and all that it caught.

Thanks for the feedback. Here are a few pictures. Note when i remove the stuff and place it in some water, it looked brown or red. I dont think it's the stuff from vermetid snails, as I do have those and they never appear to attach themselves to macroalgae, I've only seen them extending from their tubes.

Looks like it could be strands of bacteria. I saw something similar in my sump when I carbon dosed. I don’t carbonate dose now and don’t see it any more.
