What are these white things

What are these white specs in my tank? They move, they are all over the hair algae, do not seem to be bothering anything besides possibly the hermit crabs? I can’t tell if they’re attacking the hermit crabs or are offspring. Picture attached. Not sure what they are but my tang is enjoying them.

Could be some amphipods or very very large copepods. Not really positive though
