What are your feelings on the Canon t1i EOS DSLR

I am looking at purchasing this as my first camera for shooting macro shots it is in my budget but I want to ge your empression on it!

i guess you can go with the 100mm f/2.8 macro

Thanks I have a buddy that has taken all my shot for me in the past and I am sick of trying to get him to come shoot my new stuff! I figure this would be a good investment since it has a hd video mode!
