I use UVI Super actinic and love them.....But I might try aquascience bulbs as the pics junior takes the coral look amazing and that is what he uses......

I use 2 UVL Super Actinic, and 2 ATI Blue +. 2nd on the AquaScience, they have my interest for sure.

I like the Geisman/ATI for the blue actinic(460nm) but for the purple actinic(420nm) I've tried many kinds (name brands and cheapos) and they all look good for the first few weeks but then seem to fade/dim quite a bit.
I have read good things about the fiji purple but havent tried those yet.

UVL Super Actinic are the best IMO. Great color, and longevity.

Aqua science doesn't have a True Actinic (420nm) bulb!! The Blue 22k's rock though.

The best actinic you can possibly get is still the VHO's. I was actually thinking about setting up my hood with 2 of them and the rest T-5 bulbs

i have 2 fiji purple which are awesome from ATI and also just the stock brand from current actinic but want to switch that one out and a ATI blue plus looks nice with my MH. I have 4 T-5 bulbs total.

i have the ati blue+ and i love it i also run the uvl 454 and they are as nice as the ati's
