So I just removed some zoas that were just bland brownish pink color by nature and unappealing (they were free)

Some of them started getting some brown algae build up on them so I figured screw it I don't like em anyway and removed them.

As I pulled them out with a tweezer I squashed a few and what looked like actual little poop turds came out. Not tiny stringy stuff little inner zoa tube sized nuggets.

Lol any idea? Tried looking all I saw was people talking about stringy stuff.

I mean, you squished them so it could be the innards of the zoa. I would be very careful doing that as they can have palytoxin. Wear protective eye wear, gloves, wash your hands with soap after.
This is what I figured. The squish happened inside the tank while I was picking up a few of them that fell to the substrate after the pruning.

Washed my hands and everything. I am way too scared of palytoxin to start rubbing my eyes after that
