My tank has been battling GHA for several months now. All the snails I tried died because the algae was to thick for them and they starved to death. The sea hare I tried was too picky and would only eat the film on the glass. I have slowed the growth considerably when I added a skimmer. But it is still strong. I have heard fox faces lawnmowers and even mollies if acclimated will clear it up. What should I get? I should also tell you my canister filter broke down and a have a little room to add more filtration. Maybe make the sump bigger? My parameters: Nitrate 0 Nitrite 0 Ammonia 0 Phosphate a little high I do not remember what maybe 25 or 2.5. I also just got a T-5 I used to have LED so that should help. I have a few corals in the tank and five fish ( two maroon clowns three domino damsels). It is a 60gl tank. Please help me decide what fish to put in to eat it and if I should add more filtration.
