I drive a slightly modified 2008 srt
Awesome! I seriously considered an SRT when I bought mine in '14, but the 5.7 R/T is probably better for me in the long run. It has more than enough power, LOL! [emoji1]Congrats on the Challenger! I treated myself to an SRT earlier this year and LOVE it!

Lol! Kids are expensive! The story of how I ended up with a Challenger is actually kind of funny. Last Summer my son and I flew to Dallas for a weekend sales event at Frank's Tanks fish store. It was like a father/son getaway weekend so when we arrived at the airport I told him he could choose the rental car, without picking a Lambo or something insanely expensive. I figured he would pick the Mustang convertible or a Camaro. When he walked out on the lot and picked the R/T I was surprised since it seemed kind of boring. I had really had never even paid much attention to the Challenger before but I had seen a few on the road. After a weekend of driving it I REALLY liked that car. When we returned and my son passed his driving test I went to test drive a Challenger for myself since I needed a vehicle since he took the Focus. When I arrived at the local dealer they had so many models and options it was really confusing to be honest. The sales man said to me "Have you seen the SRT?" Those were the most costly five words I would hear all year.....
Once I test drove the SRT I might as well have said "Shut up and take my money!" I brought my wife back the next day for a test drive and then took the baby home that night. It is all my son's fault...:D
I miss my 02 tj! I had so much fun wheeling it.
Sorry for your loss. That is one sweet truck! Love the colorBetty, my sister in law had this 57 Chevy restored. We lost her a few years ago and we inherited her beautiful pickup! I like to share it in remembrance of her! It is so much fun to drive! I love to see my husband and sons behind the wheel they are 6', 6'2" & 6'3" and I always laugh as it looks like their knees are getting close to their ears (okay, maybe I exaggerated a bit) My daughter and I fit much better in the driver seat!
