What Does My Snail Have on Its Shell?

Hi, I recently got 5 Trochus snails, and this one came with an extra “decoration” on its shell. I’m not sure if what it has is harmless or not. Thanks!

If you mean the 'hair', it looks like red hair algae to me.

If it were me I'd scrape that off outside the tank.

Gelidium sp, remove it outside of tank as stated.
