There’s plenty of nice fish for a small tank. Just no angels. Royal Gramma. Very colorful and hardy as well as peaceful. Small fairy wrasse, at least for a while. Small goby like a neon goby.

Gravel. None. It’ll abrade their skin.
Well, I guess you’re right, if he literally means ‘live IN gravel’… otherwise, there are plenty of wrasses that can survive with gravel or bare bottom tanks

Yeah, I was thinking of ones that like to hide in substrate . Should’ve clarified.

which fairy wrasse would do good in there
Any would “look good” but any need a least a 30 for long term survival really. Get a Possum or Pink Streaked wrasse. They’re small peace ful and you don’t have to worry about substrate.
