What exactly causes Polyp Bailout?

polyp bailout is an attempt to escape the current location.... either parameters, flow, lighting is making it unhappy, or perhaps a predator is chewing on it, etc.... It will release from the skeleton to float to a different location in the ocean and hopefully be able to regenerate in a different location where conditions are different.

Its like jumping out of a highrise on fire..... you will probably die from the fall, but you will definitely die from the fire, so its slightly better odds to jump.

In our tank, the conditions and parameters are the same throughout the tank.... it cannot escape to a different location with different parameters, so regeneration is rarely possible in our tanks.
