I have this one tiny little bubble tip anemone a purple base with green tentacles. Quite a few months ago when I bought it he was looking completely different now.
This is what it looked like then.
And this is what it looks like now.
These are two separate anemones. I took the first picture just a few days ago but the anemone in the second picture looked identical in size and color when I originally bought it.
Since this anemone has shrunk I have changed a lot of things in my tanks. Now I am dosing, adding phyto, and making sure the anemone gets a well rounded diet. But when I was keeping the small anemone nothing was out of the ordinary as far as ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, ph, lighting, feeding and all of those things so I can't help but wonder how an anemone went from the size of a baseball to the size of a penny. The little anemone is not a priority to me as much any more but I will still care for it and try and revive it I am just looking for advice on how to prevent this should it ever start happening again.
