without any context, test results, photos - we have just as little clue as you! :) , first thing I check is PH & nitrate/ammonia levelsThis morning my tank looked amazing and healthy and I leave for 2 hours and come back and everything looks unhappy? What could’ve changed that quickly?
Sorry lights off now so things are naturally closed up but I unfortunately don’t have any test left I used them up. Any ideas on what can happen in two hours ?without any context, test results, photos - we have just as little clue as you! :) , first thing I check is PH & nitrate/ammonia levelsThis morning my tank looked amazing and healthy and I leave for 2 hours and come back and everything looks unhappy? Temp and salinity look normal. I will say my euphylia look a bit better since adding the carbon a hour ago. But what could the carbon do ?do you see any of them leaking out zooxanthelle? do you have the temperature/salinity readings?Sorry lights off now so things are naturally closed up but I unfortunately don’t have any test left I used them up. alot, corals have terpenes like flowers, and the release of them into the water column can have various effects, I use carbon so that I can run sinularia , cabbage and LPS+SPS in the same tanks/systems for exampleTemp and salinity look normal. I do have softies LPs and Sps and a clam so yes something probably released in my tankalot, corals have terpenes like flowers, and the release of them into the water column can have various effects, I use carbon so that I can run sinularia , cabbage and LPS+SPS in the same tanks/systems for exampleTemp and salinity look normal. I wish I studied them more to know, give me a few years :D , glad to see the carbon improvement, just keep an eye out for trace mineral crashes now, do a calcium test if possible and depending on your salt likely going to need a smidge of iron and maganese, best of luck cowboyNah clam looks nice surprisingly he’s survived two tank crashes lol I love this little guy .
