What Happened to my SPS?

Healthy corals for 3 years...and then some of my best SPS bleached out in a week! What happened??? I did have one of 4 lights go out...no significant changes in water parameters or temp...Help!

any Recent additions to the tank ? Did you replace the light with the same style light with same settings as previous ?

I've been out of town for 10 days... have not replaced the light yet... (ReefLED90)...new one ordered today.

I did note increased ALK (from ~8.3 to 9.4 over 10 days...

That’s the issue. Mandatory loss of something whenever you go out of town :disappointed-face:. Always happens to me. Sorry for your loss. That’s a beautiful reef you got there.

Thanks! But really bummed out on the recent coral loss... should I clean it out, or try to save it? ...or is it "toast?" Plus hard to get off the bleached encrusted "banana coral."
