What happened to my urchin??

Bell’s sea urchin was upside down and looked like its teeth had been kicked in. It might have been starving but I had been giving it nori and he didn’t seem too interested. Anyone have an idea what caused this?

Perhaps so far gone that recovery is not realistic.
