What have you given up for your tank?

My cousin and I are both reef junkies. We also both love tattoos. However neither of us have had any new ink done since we got in to the hobby. We just keep spending money on equipment and more coral. That led me to thinking, what have you given up so that you could spend more on your reef addiction?

My drinking habits, smoking ciggaretes, and my tax return when i get it lol

Initially starting the hobby was rough, but once my corals started it was the reef that was supporting everything else :) trading and selling and getting more space and selling more and growing and trading....i havent had a job in a while...lol. I sacrificed employment to reef eternally.

I gave up my "man cave" to upgrade to a 180g :(

4wheeling. Sold my samurai because it sat for over a year once i gave my reef my all. still have a 4wheeler but it sits for all but 4 weekends a year. and if anyone is interested in zachs offer ill double it with my wife n kids n we can do a grow-out....

I also gave up smoking (been like 2 years now). Gave it up for a lot reasons but my tank definitely got nicer afterwards.

i gave up racing carp fishing bowling and partying as hard and honestly i dont regret any of it when i look at my tanks

Personally I've gained more then I've given up. What I did give up wasn't worth half of what I gained :)
