I been having problems with not being able to keep corals. GSP, hammers & torch seem to have been eaten or disintegrated. Zoas keep disappearing. I was thinking it may be one of my fish, but within the last month I have been noticing critters in my tank. What are the friend or foe?

Looks like a Bobbit/Eunice worm, not good. It will have to come out if that is the correct ID.

Vermetid Snail in the 1st image, at the most the snail might irritate corals.

If those Asterina Stars are hanging out around your zoanthids they may be eating them as well.

Do Bobbit/Eunice worms throw out some kind of web, cause that's what it does. And are they bad?

Yes, they do put out webs. You need a different video/picture to confirm that, as I'm a a little suspicious whether that's it or not. There seems to be too many "appendages" and they seem ruffled and not smooth. The eunice should have 5 smooth tentacles.

My first thought was Cucumber.

Then my second thought was ^.

Just looks like a Bobbit to me the way it moved.

You can't tear apart your tank every time a coral dies, as there are a 1000 reasons for that happening. If image were of a highly suspect critter, than that would be different, but you can't disrupt your tank every time you have an unknown critter..... especially if you think it is something benign like a cuke.

Can't say that's the place I would start, but we all travel different routes and wind up at the same place. I hope you find your answer.
