So my tank has been up and running for about three months now and I recently experienced something fairly typical for a tank that age, a bacterial bloom. It was not a pretty sight :(

I went through a step by step process to diagnose the problem and figure out how to remedy the situation. This video has some telling before and after shots so I wanted to pass it along to share what I learned.
