Was checking in on my YWG, he’s responsible for the yellow you see in the pic and then I noticed this strange orange “thing” no idea what it could be. Doesn’t seem to be a rock, part of the live rock, or from the live sand I initially used. I have a rock nem I added about 5 days ago to the tank. Any idea what this “thing” is?

I wish the photo showed it better but it looks like a type of sponge to me. They are good for a reef tank as they do not take over and the help to filter the water.
