Funny cuz last time i was reefing i saw barracuda for sale twice. $100. Tiny little baby. Kick myself for not buying. Lol.
Prob upwards of $300-$500 now. I might get a blue line snapper.

Read this in another post and I believe it is the most accurate description of what we are all about here:

"This hobby is not about keeping livestock, it is about keeping water."

If you have good water, you can keep anything.. Now, some species don't play well with others, so you need to research anything you add before you add it.

This is true, although, some factors such as feeding routines and tank setup can make some fish harder than others.

That thing would probably outgrow your aquarium in like two months.

My tanks have been 100-300gallons the last 10yrs. These fish were small. Like 3-4" but very aggressive. Lol.
I had no other fish with teeth like them in my tanks. The biggest was a shadow fin squirrelfish at 5" and he was a peaceful community dude. Lol
I didnt want rips and chucks taken out of my other fish basically.
