Did a water change this morning and found this. Any idea what it is? I tried catching it, and it feels slimy. When it gets into the current from a powerhead, it distorts and then goes back to the same shape. Almost looks like a jellyfish.

No. Stocking is 3 chromis, 1 damsel, 2 clowns, 1 hogfish, 1 barnacle Benny, 2 known bristle worms, snails, hermits, 1 conch and 1 chocolate chip starfish. Tank is a 75, Sump has a fuge and skimmer.

Its not, but season one of blue planet, the deep episode, reminds me of the ostracod inside the jellyfish.

What corals do you have some softies shed large amounts of mucus at once. My briareum does that.
