Ok I have a 55 with a tang, blenny , damsels and clowns and I came home from work today and my temp was at 90. New to the matter. I quickly grabbed some ro that I keep in my basement and put about 2 gallons in. Bringing my temp down to 85 and dropping with my ceiling fan on and such. I'm just wondering if I was in the right doing that or if its nothing to really sweat over. (No pun intended)

I keep my 65 and my 30 at a temperature from about 75-78 but both of my aquariums are reefs. For fish only aquariums a temperature from about 80-83 is good.

77_78 I run mine at but the biggest concern would b the two gals of freshwater added what is your salinity now?? Do you have corals or just fish.?

Next time put the ro in freezer make ice. Put in zip locks and float in the tank.
