I was wondering what some of you have had success with in feeding your zoas and palys. There's so many products out there I'm not sure which one to try. I hoping to feed some of the stuff in my new frag tank with it to try and help growth.

I've found that mysis works well, especially if you mix it in some selcon.

I chop thaw the mysis and then chop in a few of the shrimp in thirds and feed the palys.

frozen cyclopeeze & Rod's food... :)
Just the person I wanted to hear from :snicker:, I have the veggie Rods for my tang will that work or is there one for corals? Also, will cyclops work as good as cyclopeeze?

I use the regular Rod's Food and frozen cyclopeeze from Choice Aquarium... :)

I'm not really sure that the polyps eat but they do react to the food... most of it is consumed by the fishes... :)

I second Cyclopeeze!! I feed it to all my corals and have noticed amazing polyp extension with SPS and LPS. My Zoanthids definitely react to it as well!! With Rod's food, I'd feed the regular variety. You need to "meaty" one for Zoanthids. Fish will love it too!!

Personally I don't much car efor the Rod's coral food. Lots of liquid once thawed. The best I have had success with is taking a frozen chunk of mysis, brine shrimp, krill, silversides and cyclops and place them in a food chopper and mince them then add some tank water and bring to tank temp then taget feed. Though I have tried, I have not seen my zoanthus take foods but all my palys and protos relish it.

Looks like I have to get some cyclopeeze for sure. Hay any of you tried like the coral frenzy or marine snow or others like it?
