I’ve had my tank up for about 2 1/2 years.
75 gallon
30 gallon sump
Reef octopus protein skimmer
Yellow tang
Two clowns
Firefish
Anenome
Zoas

the rocks have been covered with this algae shown in the pictures. It takes over the substrate and I physically remove it. Dies Off of the rocks somewhat and then comes right back. Seems kind of like gha but it’s not green. There is a couple spots where it’s green and longer but for he most part it’s like a furry brown algae, not like diatoms, I’ve dealt with those when the tank was new.
Nutrients are all low
Phosphate is undetectable really
Nitrite is basically 0
Nitrate is very low
No ammomia

I’ve got to restock my CUC.

does anyone have any idea what this is or how to have it all finally die off? GFO?
I’ve let the glass get a little more dirty than usual just to help show what’s going on.
