Hi,

I had my tank for about 9 months and so many things are happening now. I’m new to the hobby so I am no expert. I recently vacuumed my substrate and got some sand on my rocks but it settled on some fuzzy stuff growing on several rocks. What do you think this could be?

Welcome!!

See if it dislodges with a turkey baster. If not, scrub it off with soft toothbrush. Nassarius, cerith and margarita snails should help rid of this as well as an algae blenny

Welcome home, you will love it here!

Newer tanks get all sorts of strange stuff, I wouldn’t lose any sleep ;)
