What is this in my tank??? HELP!

Hello New Member Here,

Just went away for the weekend and arrived back to find whatever this is growing at the base of my pulsating xenia. looks like white bristly super glue almost. in a few different spots.
i attached a picture

Looks like it could be a sponge.

Poriferan sponge. Can be invasive but harmless filter feeder
