Ok, so I just fed the tank. Everything's normal, watching all my fish, corals, inverts eating away..... then notice this elephant trunk looking thing with little arms on the tip EATING the mix of food I put in there too!! What is it?? If it's bad how do I get it out??

Can't get a better pic. I was zoomed in as far as I could without losing focus. Googled peanut worm and it does look like that though!! Thank you.
The part that was out of the rock that was visible was easily 6 inches. Do I need to worry if it gets to big or do they leave fish and coral alone as a rule?
