What is this on my open brain? It's almost translucent.

Looks like a sponge

It looks like it might have polyps or tentacles around the opening in the center, but it’s too blurry when I zoom in far enough to see those details to say for sure. Does it respond at all to light, touch, etc.?

i noticed that and thought the coral was growing another head/mouth, but i have no knowledge on "brain corals".
