Just noticing these spots on my rocks. Tank is about 2 wks old. No amonia, some nitrite and nitrate. I have a few snails, crabs, and two clowns.

Time and nutrient control. Algae will happen no matter what. Keep up on making sure your phosphate and nitrate are in order.

Thank you. What is the best way to combat algae?
have you gone threw the ammonia cycle? If not you will more then like kill everything.
I think I skip cycled because I have never registered ammonia. I do however have nitrates and a small amount of nitrite. I have been putting DR Tims in since day 1.
