hi all, im super beginner with all these reef tank.
I just bought this coral and saw this thing, something hairy popping out and in inside its ?tube like thing.
I wonder if this a parasite?
Will it be harmful to my coral?

Welcome! That looks like a little tube worm. A harmless filter feeder. Especially if you touch the feather part and it retracts into the tube.

If it really bother you you can pop it off the base of the coral but I think it’s harmless.

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
