I quarantined 6 new frags for 7 days. 3 weeks later… two out of the six have this, threaded hairy but vertical red lines/tubes? (Coralline?)
I dipped both coral frags in Coral RX 48 hours ago. It definitely has lessened by about 20% but obviously I need something specific. Can anyone help with a solution/dip? Everything else is thriving.

Please see pictures!

Can't see a thing.
Need white lights.
Before actually posting the thread, go back and look at your pictures. Ask yourself, if I'm looking at this picture for the first time, can I see what I want somebody else to see?

IME, pointing a good bright flashlight at the thing you're trying to take a picture of usually works just fine and you don't have to mess with your tank lights.

Bad case of hair algae and some vermetid snails.
I would pull out the coral and tweeze off as much as you can and then use a qtip to apply h2o2 to the frag plug... Or remove the coral from the plug, clean off any algae growing on the skeleton and then mount to a new plug or to your rocks.

I don't think that is hair algae.
I do agree to take it off the plugs.
Tiny flat bladed screwdriver and get under it and twist gently. Should pop off. Use tweezers and a magnifying glass to make sure you get all that stuff off. If needed, h2o2 on a soft toothbrush and brush gently. Mount on another plug or on a rock.
