What is this snail?

What is this? Looks somewhat like a freshwater ramshorn snail. About the size of a nickel. Maybe a little bigger. It is fused to my trumpet coral. There were two, and they appear to have killed the nearby heads.

Hmm…that’s what I thought was possible, but the others in my tank are like the size of a thick sesame seed. I didn’t realize they got that big. Perhaps the things I think are vermatid snails are not?
 
Yeah, that's a large Vermetid snail species; the big ones don't usually cause problems, but given where it was growing, I would not be surprised if it killed or at least irritated the heads.

Vermetids come in a surprisingly large range of sizes, so it's entirely possible that you have some small species in the tank as well.
 
Yeah, I was just watching some videos. I defiantly have a problem with the small ones I need to deal with.

Nuisance vermetids and get rid of it before it build its calcareous housing

I only saw 2, and both are out.
