It could literally just be tissue scraps or gunk or maybe a piece of fur from my rabbit but this is a cycling tank with no fish so I’m wondering what this is. There are like 7-8 of these around my rockwork. I used the hello reef kit so dry rock, live sand, and dr tims bacteria.

Given that your tank is pretty much sterile at this point, I believe that's a random piece of fuzz or rabbit fur. Can you pick it off the rock and see?

I’ve been pretty scared to touch the rocks lol but will do. I have def seen the occasional rabbit fur as my rabbit is shedding and frequents the tank area. I saw that it’s non-toxic, so I don’t care if it’s fur or random dust. As long as it’s not a work or something. Thanks for the reassurance!

Oh yeah, if it's fur (I have cats and dogs), it's organic, and shouldn't be a problem. You could probably just leave it if you wanted to.
