What is this white blobs growing in the sump?

Could you help identifying these white blobs growing in the sump, please. I have two different white things.
1. Some kind of sponge (bottom pictures). I think it is harmless, but it plugs my filters overtime. Do I need to control them? Can I control them?
2. Some kind of white string algae (top pictures). That one I definitely want to control as it plugs filters very fast.

Pineapple sponges and spirorbid worms.
Nothing bad

Hard to tell but my money is on a sponge, again, harmless
