Does anyone know what this growth is. It’s on the return boxes on both sides of my 720g tank. It’s FOWLR tank and I use RODI water. The tank was reset after bleaching about 5-6 months ago. Fish all appear healthy and eating. IS it harmful? How do I get rid of it? Thx

Could be calcium left from coralline alge that was killed from the bleaching?

It’s not green or red. Appears more purplish/blue which I guess is Coraline color….Thought Corrine mostly grew on rocks? Looks like large ameba’s I remember from my high schools science class,,,,,

Don’t see much a difference but here you go….
Was there a lot of coralline before you bleached it? Looks like whats leftover from when corraline was there and is now "gone". If you didnt scrape it off or polish the glass before or after the bleach it could be what we are seeing. If you did may be the start of new but typically it starts as much smaller patches.
