What is this?

This started growing on my back wall I have no idea what it is

Are you talking about the algae, or the white things?

Not sure on the algae, but looks like hair algae. The white thing looks like small pineapple sponges.

I was talking about the algae I guess that's what it is That's growing on the back wall
It is very light colored with bubbles in it
I've had hair algae before and it doesn't look anything like that
This is more stringy than hairy

Sorry the picture was a bit blurry. After you said it, I could see the bubbles.

It could be dinos, but someone more educated than me will hopefully chime in. There is a good dino thread here you can look through and see if someone has posted similar pictures.

I do know, if it is dinos, to identify the specific type, you will need to microscope it.

I googled Dino and that's definitely what it is and now I know it's bad
From what was said is if it doesn't get light that it'll die so beings it was just on the back wall only I covered the whole thing with a black piece of plastic so it can't get any light see if that works
