I've noticed these on a few pieces of live rock that I picked up, but have not seen anything else. Want to make sure it is not anything harmful.

At first guess and glance I'd say it's a calciferous algae, or what is left of what was growing.

New thing to identify... well two. I believe one is a sponge and the other a snail. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thank you. I had a power outage yesterday and it took me forever to figure out what all of the worms that came out from hiding were. They were hair worms the best I can tell.

I have a 4.5" bristle worm that lives in the rock. I have no idea how it fits into the small pores but I can never catch it. I also just had a stomatella explosion and there are snails all over the sump and in the DT. LOL

I'm thinking I have some Aipstasia now. I've left the tank alone for a few weeks besides normal feeding every 3 days and while replacing the filters noticed a few of these guys hanging around. Nothing new has been added to the tank for about 3 months. Also, the red algae on the sand.... is that cyano?

Yes and yes. I dont mind a few aiptasia as long as the peppermints keep them under control.
