Hello, does anyone know what this media is, how does it use it? ;Bookworm

I personally have never seen or used any like the ones you show, but it is a type of biological filter media. Essentially, it adds more surface area for your bacteria to colonize to assist in the nitrification and denitrification cycles.

Many people will have this or something like it in their sump. Some run them in reactors, but not that common.

Here are some examples of other brands and types.. Marinepure blocks/spheres, ceramic bricks, etc (https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/filter-media/biological-filtration-media.html)

Thank you for the answer but I think this is something similar to the biopelite but with a wet dry reactor.
