Is there anyone that can help me identifying this crab? And should I do anything about it?

Do you have any more pictures? Kinda looks like a porcelain crab but I’m also second guessing myself.

I don't know the exact species but I'm fairly certain that it isn't a porcelain crab.

The body resembles a Pom Pom crab ( which it’s definitely not ) but those huge pinchers are throwing me off.

Due the the carapace I'd think it is related to the mithrax crab, you can search for mithrax and see if it's the one you have, the claws are a characteristic as well.

The only other pic I have is from a few months ago. It might be the same crab. I'm not sure it helps though[emoji848]

Ahh that looks about right, I'll search for it [emoji847] if it's a mitrax, is that a good thing to have?

Yes they eat algae, but if it doesn't have enough food it'll eat some soft corals.

I am very certain that this isn't a porcelain crab but a true crab, it's very likely that a pair of legs fell off. This claw shape definitely not that of a porcelain crab.
I might be wrong. Porcelain crab, isn't them sto eats seastars?
