I was checking my curring live rock to day and found a surprise. I think it may be a curlycuqie. If it helps to ID, my rock is from the Florida keys area.

It is about the size of a #2 pencil eraser

Some type of glass anemone. I had them on my FL rock too. I just made epoxy tombs for the couple I found. Better safe than sorry.

I'm new to reefs. Are glass nems bad for reefs?

So far it hasn't moved. I'll keep an eye on it.

it looks like a variant of aptasia... if so they're bad because they will proliferate at a very high rate taking over your tank they also pack a punch stingwise and will injure other corals plus they will move and will be very hard to get out once they find a nice little nook or cranny.

i have a couple of those as well...they don't harm anything
