it don't look good half the tentacles are flat

had it 2 week read again about nitrate and phos mp40 on 50% 60% blue 15% white i dropped it down incase it was too high lighting

hi, agree cal way too high, also from video see too much direct one direction flow from left of coral.
large water change is only way to get that cal down
small ones will not help as adding cal at 4-450 when doing.

As @neo1738 said, calcium is very high and should be 450 (max, IMO). Euphylia appreciate higher magnesium so you could raise this to 1400 over a couple of days.

Report back on [NO3, PO4, SG].

I have Euphylia acclimated to 250 par, I don’t think lighting is the issue here. The flow looks OK, torches definitely get “longer” when they are in the right flow, meaning there is enough (indirect) velocity to really open up the polyp formation.

I would probably focus on the parameters listed above [CA, MG, NO3, PO4, SG] and leave everything else alone. Euphylia are pretty tough. Just give it some time.

I agree, watching again you can see some “tugging” at the thin part of the polyps shoulder on the left side.

Having only one pump can cause a prevailing current in some parts of the tank. What settings do you run the MP40 on and what size is the tank?

tank is 4 foot mp40 on like 50-60%

maybe post a longer video, seems to be pulling tissue from left to right in the short video.
try to break that direct flow.
but more important get that cal down, near 600 you are burning things.

Keep an eye on those angelfish. Even though, they don't enjoy the taste of toches, hammers and frogspawn, doesn't mean they wont keep nipping until they like them.

Never seen the angelfish nip the tentacles are completely flat like they have no air in them i can't find anything like it online

With calcium extremely high, I would look at alk also as they work together. I also see what looks like excessive water flow. One of the biggest problems I have seen beginner hobbyists have is failing to account for the calcium demand for these corals. If there is insufficient calcium in your aquarium water, these corals will not be able to make their coral skeleton and if too much shrink. You should also never lift a torch coral out of the water if you can avoid it. You could tear the polyps, and torn polyps are prone to infection followed by necrosis
Torch require typical parameters including:
Temperature : 77-79 degrees
Specific gravity 1.025
Ph of 8.1-8.3
Calcium level of about 400-440 ppm
Phos-.04-.06

Like most large polyp stony corals, a torch coral benefits from moderate water flow. The polyps will remain retracted and under-inflated if the water current is too fast because the large flowing polyps are prone to rip and tear in high or ultra-high current environments.
The torch coral is a photosynthetic coral, meaning it has a relationship with symbiotic zooxanthellae (single-cell photosynthetic organisms) that live inside its tissues that converts the light energy into sugar. In exchange for a home inside the coral, the zooxanthellae split their harvest and feed the coral. Therefore, it is possible to keep the Torch coral without any feeding at all. However, all corals are animals, and animals are meant to eat.
The best placement for a torch coral is in a location that gets moderate water flow and moderate-intensity lighting.
