I got this zoa Saturday it’s my first coral. It’s not opening up at all. It looked fine when I bought it but would never open. I have it in the sand bed and all my parameters are on point.

Looks like it may benefit from an iodine based dip.

Probably angry because the tank is new and started with sterile dry rock.

Another potential issue is your tank looks deep and looks like you have an orbit marine type light which I would only use on a shallow tank.

That’s all right. I don’t know how you figured all that out. I dipped it today but I had it higher on the rock work the first three days and it wouldn’t open. You think it needs more light.
