On mine anyway

That's a bummer. What's funny is that it's still a great looking mille, but I get it, it's definitely not likely to be what you expected. Especially given the price tag. Hopefully the red shows up for you at some point.

There are some NPS gorgs that I would love to have, but would never even attempt because I know my tank isn't suitable for them.

One that I haven't kept but plan to at some point, Angry Birds tenuis.

Good to know! I can get a frag of a really nice red goni from a local reefer - maybe I'll try it out. :)
What was once said to be next to impossible to keep long term , more and more successful reefers here can claim
To actually have kept them long term

I Am one of the failed attempts in the late 90’s early 2000’s and haven’t tried again

Considering how pricey most of them are, I don't want to kill any! The lady that frags them here has a huge colony she showed me in one of her tanks - her clownfish love it. She must know the secret to keeping them, lol. I'll have to ask her!

They have become more popular along with more success
I’d love to hear what’s changed and why they have become easier to keep

That makes sense. I love corals that add movement to the tank and gonis come in such cool colors - if I can figure out caring for them I'd be happy!

Nice scoly, holy grail micromussa, and nice torch for me so far. I could easily add some more SPS to this list but I believe I am running out of space in my 90 gallon.

While an anemone and not stony coral some of the blue types are so beautiful like Orion has. Just need a dedicated system. I think perhaps the most beautiful invert in the hobby.

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
