My Powder blue tang and Sleeper Gold headed goby are best buddies. One picks at the rocks while the other sand sifts. The GOBY is still very small.Hello! I am asking because i will get a 65 gallon tank soon, and hope to make it a mixed reef, and am looking for some good fish for my tank. What are your favorites?

i want some awesome looking fish, like filefish, sharks and rays (i know i cant have any of those in the tank it is just an example), and lionfish. I want a peaceful tank though, so i want some cool looking fish thats peaceful-semi aggresive, and wont eat my fish. Is there such a thing as a mini lionfish that wouldnt eat other fish?Ask yourself what fish you would like to see in your tank and tailor your build around those fish. 65 gallons is a good size and you will be able to keep a nice variety.

How many you have? And what size tank? Was thinking of getting one recently but heard they are shy and for the price wouldn’t wanna pay that much for a shy fish
thanks!You are correct.
As I understand, sharks and rays are considered advanced fish. I once saw a Black Tip Reef Shark in a tank at an LFS that was 800 gallons.
I also don't know about lion fish, but I understand them to be an aggressive species.
This is a fish compatibility chart from LiveAquaria. It will give you a good starting point in terms of fish that play nice together.
Have a look.
How about a fu manchu lionfish?i want some awesome looking fish, like filefish, sharks and rays (i know i cant have any of those in the tank it is just an example), and lionfish.
