Lavender. Lighting plays a huge role with this fish and of course the food. Mine really loved the red macro algae from ipsf - gracilaria parvispora. Would go nuts over the stuff as does my scopas. Anyway beautiful tang (biased obviously I am) but sadly mine needed to be given away as it wouldn't let me add any more fish to the tank. It was fine with those it was introduced with but anything after forget it. Mean as can be.
I love my lavender, I think it’s growth is stunted this, my other fangs are growing like crazy and he’s still 4 inches , super calm as well.

A. pyroferus the chocolate or mimic tang in both juvi and adult color forms.
I'm thinking of adding one last tang and thinking about a chocolate.

Can you post a pic of yours? plzzzzzzzzz

It doesn't have to be a great photo...just wanting to see an Adult Chocolate that hasn't been Photoshop-to-death on Google images /LiveAquaria.com

Really, really wanted a great blonde naso but it was only blonde the first 30 minutes I had it. It's been completely black for the past 2 months. My son calls it the Sith Tang.

Chocolate Mimic tang for me too. Peaceful, beautiful and stay small enough to be kept their whole lives in a 180-240g tank. They are hard to photo... either the body is too flourescent or the tail is not orange enough.

Too lazy to read the entire thread, but I bet nobody’s said Zebra Tang. The most I’ve paid for a fish so it had better be the favorite.
