Definitely looks like a Maroon clown color mutation

Very interesting. Looking at the shape and patterns, it's definitely a maroon mutation of some sort. I haven't seen any of the captive-bred strains with this color combination, so definitely something wild-caught. If more of these exist, I wouldn't be shocked to see them bred in captivity in the next couple of years by either ORA or Sea & Reef.

Ya, I contacted Matt on it. His take was its a WSM, environmental or mood base color change, not genetics
