With the amount of lighting I've got for the new tank and it being mounted in a canopy, I'm going to need something to help with airflow in the canopy. I'm thinking I'll be to find something that's quiet and efficient. What recommendations do you guys have?

I just had a stand fan I'd point at the tank if I ever needed it to cool down. Up here we don't get too many hot days

I run halides in a canopy so I use 80mm computer fans from Amazon (4 of them). They do the job just fine, and are cheap enough to simply replace when they die. I run four of them and in 2.5 years I have replaced two fans.

I'm looking at the fans by AC Infinity. I think the AIRPLATE or AIRTITAN will work well (probably more than I need honestly).

I will say that I'm way too excited about a fan. LOL

It wasn’t for a canopy but I had a AC Infinity Axial mounted into a tank lid to cool a tank for an axolotl several years ago. Overall I was impressed with the quality and amount of air it moved.

I have 2 hqi halides and 3 hydra64s in a canopy. There is a 3"slot across the back for ventilation with a ac infinity 3 fan unit on the top(blowing out) and 4 80mm PC fans (2 on each side, blowing into the canopy. Very effective. Have replaced 2 PC fans in last 5 years.(should probably clean them..)

Others already stated it but AC infinity are the best fans out there. I have run them in 100% humidity terrariums for years at a time with no issues. They have great controllers and are dead silent.

I think this is the one I'm going to go with: AC Infinity AIRTITAN T7. I like the ability to control it via WIFi.

I haven't needed fans on my tank since I switched to leds about 13-14 years ago.
When I had mh and vho lighting I used 3 of the highest rated cfm 120mm computer fans I could find.
I made acrylic brackets to mount them on the back of my canopy.
Thanks to imageshack many of those old pictures are disappearing.
